Pierce Guderski || Bio

Pierce Guderski (b. 1993) is a musician hailing from the Monterey Bay in central California. Intrigued by the instrument taller than himself at the time, Pierce started a life-long relationship with the Bass at the age of 10 in the school Orchestra. After everyone but Pierce quit, instructor and friend Dave Hoffman simultaneously introduced him to the Electric Bass and Jazz. Throughout his first 5 years playing music, he gained invaluable experience playing with the Monterey Jazz Festival conglomerate of events as well as continuing exploring classical music and other instruments. By age 18, Pierce developed an affinity for virtually every genre of music, having began electronic music production (house, dubstep, hard dance) in FL Studio, playing Tuba and Concert Percussion, and picking up the drums. After attending Chapman University in Orange County obtaining a degree in Business and playing Lacrosse, he also obtained greater knowledge in music production, Bass, Guitar, Drums, and most importantly life.

Pierce (also under the alias Silveretta) enjoys writing, performing, and producing primarily Synthwave, Alt. Rock, Fusion, and Production Music in multiple genres with endeavors as a solo artist (Silveretta, PGP) and currently with Minneapolis Rock outfit Vangaard)

Pierce's "greatest gift from Dad" was being introduced to exceptional music from an early age. He grew up listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers, 311, Blue Oyster Cult, Queen, and Incubus to name a few. However, in 8th grade, pivotal discoveries were made thanks to great friends and the curiosity into one band in particular: Rush. Discovering metal genres and bands such as Amon Amarth, Overkill, Mudvayne, and Angra in addition to a new devotion to Rush broadened Pierce's tastes and illuminated the peaks of musical talent and extremes. Despite these affinities, Pierce grew into DJing and a love for bay area Hip Hop, Dubstep, House, and Hardstyle which he still listens to. In present times however, Pierce cites his main inspirations as Rush, Dream Theater, Angra, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, Alice in Chains, and Faith No More as well as song writers Steely Dan, Frank Zappa, and Devin Townsend.
